“At the height of the pandemic, Oaks searched for a Fit Testing provider that could not only provide training in compliance with OSHA’s Fit Test Protocol but also accommodate teaching our expansive team at various locations across the state. When I found out that Copelia could meet our needs, I reached out immediately and have been utilizing their services ever since.
Al is knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He truly cares about the safety of every individual we serve. Each employee at Oaks has Qualitative Fit Testing performed annually. Al provides each of them with a respirator condition evaluation and administers Bitrex or Sacchrine while using the OSHA Fit Test Protocol §1910.134. He explains why fit testing is necessary annually and answers any questions as they arise, making each employee feel comfortable and secure in the instruction. Each employee is taught how to don, adjust, and fit their individual respirator masks and each receives their own certification card when they have passed the respirator fit test.
We have been using Copelia’s services for three years now and they are professional and on time every time. The lessons extend beyond the training as well as they provide instructional and informational handouts for our employees to reference in the field. We’ve also hired them on occasion to do emergency fit testing and special add on dates to our contract.
